What is your favorite movie you have seen recently? Why? I loved “Gran Torino,” with Clint Eastwood. I’m a big fan of Clint Eastwood, and this movie reminded me of “Dirty Harry,” where he’s had enough and not going to take it any more.

Are there any movies you watched recently that you didn’t like? Why not? I saw “The Reader,” and I have to say I hated it. I didn’t like the story line at all, and I thought the message of the movie was depressing.

What is your favorite movie genre? As I guess you can tell, I really like action-adventure movies. Thrillers – something with excitement and a plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I know, women are supposed to go for “chick flicks,” but I want to see some action.

Do you think movies today are getting better or worse? That’s a hard question. You’re asking me to lump so many different films together. Obviously, there’s a lot of junk, but if you look at the very best, I think they are as good as they have ever been, and they keep getting better.

Do you watch movies on TV? I do like going to the theater and seeing movies on the big screen – action films need that big canvas – but I have been known to turn on the television to the movie channel.
