I didn’t actually know about the park being approved. I remember earlier when it seemed that would not happen. I have a Maltese poodle called Buddy. I’ll take him to the park. At the moment I walk my dog around Martinique (Court).

It’s a good idea as far as people have the freedom to take their dogs there, as long as people are responsible and their dogs are not a threat to anybody. People should know their dogs’ limitations when it comes to being around strangers and other dogs. It’s the owners’ responsibility. It’ll be nice for dogs to run free.

It’s nice to have a place where dogs are able to run because they need the exercise. It’s not always easy for people to get out and run their dogs, especially older people. Now they can let them run loose. Not everybody has a backyard or a fence, so I think it’s a good idea. There will be conditions for owners to agree to, like registration, tags and rabies shots, that kind of thing.
