MARCO ISLAND — Collier Area Transit's (CAT) Marco Express/Route 7 will utilize an alternate route since Interstate 75 is shut down due to wild fires. Marco Express/Route 7, which services Marco Island to Immokalee, will use Collier Boulevard to Golden Gate Boulevard to Wilson Boulevard to Immokalee Road to Immokalee and the reverse route on returns until I-75 is reopened.
The Marco Express, which is a specialized service that travels a direct route between Immokalee and Marco Island, has a daily use fare of $2.50 and $1.25 for senior citizens, 65 years and older, people with disabilities and children under 17. Monthly bus passes for Marco Express Service are $70 or $35 for seniors, children and those who are disabled.
