Loitering at 7-Eleven leads to arrest of two men on multiple charges

Police responded to reports of someone loitering at the 7-Eleven Store located at 600 Bald Eagle Dr. at 3:37 a.m., Dec. 9. Robert Jay Clark, 28, of 17th Street, Cape Coral, was arrested for an active warrant for failure to appear in court out of Okaloosa County, Fla. Johnathan Lewis Mann, 20, also of the same address in Cape Coral, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Mann and Clark were taken to jail.

Criminal mischief, vehicle break-in

Krista Harbour reported that someone attempted to break into her vehicle while it was parked at the Marriott Hotel, 400 S. Collier Blvd., between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m., Dec. 3. Estimated value of damage to the vehicle is $100.

Driving while license suspended leads to additional charges of perjury, violation of probation

A traffic stop in the area of the 1000 block of North Collier Boulevard at 9:12 a.m., Dec. 5 led to the arrest of Victor Manual Mejia-Rivas, 27, of the 4000 block of Whistlers Green Cir., Naples, was arrested for driving a motor vehicle while his license was suspended. Mejia-Rivas was taken to jail. While at the jail, police said it was revealed that Mejia-Rivas provided false information of his identity to law enforcement and was wanted for two active warrants out of Collier County for violation of probation.

Criminal mischief, broken window

Natalie Strafford reported that a window was damaged at her residence located on Marco Lake Drive between 2 p.m., Dec. 6, and 3 p.m., Dec. 7. Estimated value of property destroyed is $200..

Driver must be licensed

After police stopped driver Jorge Orlando Pantoia for a traffic offense near Sixth Avenue and East Elkcam Circle at 9:05 p.m., Dec. 8, they charged Pantoia for operating a motor vehicle without a valid drivers license. He was issued a criminal citation for a notice to appear in court and released at the scene.

Driving while license expired for more than 4 months

Police stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation in the 800 block of Chestnut Court at 10:34 p.m., Dec. 8. Antonio De La Rosa Sanchez, 42, was arrested for operating a vehicle with an expired driver’s license close to his home on Chestnut Court. He was issued a criminal citation for a notice to appear in court and released at the scene.

Driving while license suspended

Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at 3:05 a.m., Dec. 9, on the 400 block of North Barfield Drive, they reported. Cindy Raistick, 46, of the 400 block of Worthington Street, Marco, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. She was issued a criminal citation for a notice to appear in court and released at the scene.

Theft of skateboard

It was reported that a skateboard was stolen in the area of Gulfport Court and San Marco Road between 6:20 p.m. and 8 p.m., Dec. 12. Estimated value of property stolen is $250.
