Nearly 100 golfers from Hideaway Beach on Marco Island turned out recently for the annual shotgun golf tournament to benefit the American Cancer Society’s ongoing help and research efforts. Organizer Bill Dean said the tournament and evening dinner/auction yielded $54,000 towards ACS coffers. Tied to this is an annual “Buddy Days” event that brings Immokalee students to the community for a day of fun and sun
