The exhibit features plein-air works created by local artists during painting expeditions in the Rookery Bay area and other Southwest Florida venues. Juror for the show was Sherry Rohl. Artists whose works were chosen for exhibition are Cynthia Ahern, Pat Flock, Phyllis Gift-Jellison, Rick Granneman, Inez Hudson, Pippi Johnson, Betty Newman, Mary Parkman, Page Penna, Joan Scherer, Rosemary Sciuk, Elizabeth Smith, Marilyn Wirth and Val Wright.

The Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center is located at 300 Tower Road, just off Highway 951, two blocks south of U.S. 41. There is no charge for admission to the art gallery. For information about hours at the Rookery Bay center, call 239-417-6310.
