MARCO ISLAND — Karla Nason-Shaw of Marco Island, recent widow of Dr. Mitchell Shaw, has a baby girl. Baby Shaw’s grandmother, Annemarie McKinley, said baby and mom came home from Physician’s Regional Medical Center, Collier Boulevard, Monday. A Motorcycle Poker Run benefit for Karla and baby will be held 9 a.m., Feb. 22 starting at Suntrust Bank, 950 North Collier Boulevard, Marco Island.
A police escort will join at 10 a.m. Stops include the bank, Sneaky Pete’s in Bonita Springs, Junkanoo’s in Fort Myers, Harley-Davidson Naples and Stan’s Idle Hour Restaurant in Goodland. The last bike is scheduled to be in by 4 p.m. Entry fees are $40 per bike, $10 each additional rider, and $20 for a second card.
