EAGLE i: 15 teams vied for Bocce title

Team Outnumbered obviosuly wasn't as it won the Marco Island Parks and Recreation and Italian American Bocce Tournament. Members of the team, from left, were Carol and Bill Forrest, Fran Grajzl and Julie Omahen.

The Marco Island Parks and Recreation and Italian American Bocce Tournament came and went this past Saturday. Fifteen teams participated in this year’s event, but at the end there could only be one winner. Congratulations to our winners. The standings are as follows:

First place, Team Outnumbered: Fran Grajzl, Julia Omahen, Carol Forrest, and Bill Forrest.

Second place, Team Sea Breeze: Eva Giambastini, Mara Picci, Joe Mazzone and Ercole Picchi.

Third place, Team Slovenia: Josef Omahen, Valentin Kavcic, Nin Liulas and Albert Grajzel.

Fourth place, Team Marco Island: Gaetano Spina, Anna Colagiovanni and Michelina Paolucci, Anna Pauolucci.
