Marion Cordisco and Pat Lyons won the consolation round in the Love of Y tennis tourney.

John Sullivan and Priscilla Mullvain won the 6.0 Mixed Doubles title at the Love of the Y tennis tourney.

The 2009 Love of the Y Tennis Tournament had some tremendous competition.

Here are the results provided by Connie Korrmanyos, YMCA tennis director.

4.0 Men’s Singles-Round Robin: First, Tareem Heath, second, John Moulton, third, Andy Nickel.

4.0 Men’s Doubles: Tareem Heath and Phil Crombie defeated Joe Magdelina and Rich Eichman, by default.

Consolation Winners: Jaryd and Jack Miller defeated V. Cabonski and Andy Nickel, 6-4, 6-2.

3.5 Men’s Singles: Leo Zoller defeated Al Duquet 6-1, 6-1.

Consolation winners: Eric Szczeponski won by default over Henry VanDixhorn.

3.0 Men’s Doubles — Round Robin: First, Roberto Pericoli and Ray Gauch, second, Scottie Holdsworth and Conrad Donalson, third, Art Aschoff and Rudy Dieterich.

3.5 Men’s Doubles: Geoff Smith and Brock Wilson downed Luis Benito and Eric Sonnenberg, 6-4, 6-1.

Consolation winners: Corky and Ron Trebilcock defeated John Ericksson and Dave Goldfarb, 6-2, 6-3.

4.0 Ladies Doubles-Round Robin: First, Maria Hayden and Jane Howard, second, Jacqueline Pham and Rachael Schenk, third, Carolyn Bidninger and Heather McKee.

3.0 Ladies Doubles: Valarie Colondona and Jerra Holdsworth, defeated Priscilla Mullivan and Kathryn Mullin, 6-0, 6-0.

Consolation winners: Bonnie Brown and Gala Hoehn beat Maria Hughes and Lynn Clark, 4-6, 6-3, 1-0.

3.5 Ladies Singles — Round Robin: First, Ann Campisi, second, Missy Saracino, third, Karina Paape.

3.5 Ladies Doubles — Winner determined by total games won: First, Martha Spaulding and Pam Weaver, 37 games, second, Marion Cordisco and Karen Lewis, 35, third, Susan Munz and Sue Thomas, 28.

6.0 Mixed Doubles: Priscilla Mullvain and John Sullivan edged Autum Golden and Eric Sonnenberg, 6-7, 6-4, 1-0.

Consolation winners: Catherine Rappoport and Gene Zielinski beat Jane and Nick Mastracchio, 6-1, 6-1.

7.0 Mixed Doubles: Heidi and Jeff Donato, defeated Erika and Geoff Smith 6-1, 6-2.

Consolation winners: Marion Cordisco and Pat Lyons downed Maria Hayden and Richie Aponte, 6-0, 6-0.
