Naples High School to host workshop for college-bound students

The Naples High School guidance department has scheduled two workshops to give college-bound students and their parents information about college.

The first workshop is a financial aid workshop for seniors and their parents. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the school auditorium, 1100 Golden Eagle Circle. The presentation is designed to assist parents with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid Form (FAFSA) and the Naples High School local scholarship application process. Cindy Lewis, financial aid director at Edison State College, and Kelley Costin, Naples High assistant principal and local scholarship coordinator, will present the information.

The second workshop is a college planning workshop for juniors and their parents. This meeting will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, in the Naples High auditorium. The focus of the workshop will be on the college application and admissions process.
