What is your favorite movie?

I don’t know, there are so many choices! A few of my favorites are “10 Things I Hate About You,” “Clueless,” ”Love Actually.” “10 Things I Hate About You” is a great movie, I must have seen it 10 times. It’s based on a play by Shakespeare, so the plot is classic. But it is completely modernized. It has great characters played by talented actors. “Clueless” is another classic. It has become this cult thing, you know? Every girl has to have seen “Clueless.” It’s one of those feel-good movies that you watch on a rainy day or with a bunch of girlfriends. It makes me laugh every time. I enjoy seeing Paul Rudd so young! He’s always funny. “Love Actually” is another movie that I could watch over and over again. The actors are phenomenal in that movie. Hugh Grant dancing down the hallway as Britain’s prime minister is probably the best scene. It’s just heartwarming, as well as hilarious. I went to go see it in the theater by accident because everything else was sold out, I didn’t particularly want to see it, and it turned out to be amazing. Those are probably the three movies I would take with me to a deserted island.

What was the last movie you saw in the theater?

I went on a date the other night and we saw “Year One,” with Jack Black and Michael Cera. It was hilarious! Movies like that tend to be kind of stupid, and it was at some parts, but most of the humor was actually clever. Those two together were great. Jack Black is just outrageous; he has a very loud and obnoxious sense of humor. Michael Cera is pretty much the opposite; he has this quiet and awkward sense of humor. They work so well together. I don’t know if I’ll buy the DVD, but it was much better than I expected.

Who is your favorite movie star?

Wow, even more choices. Most people would say Brad Pitt, I guess, but not me. I always found him kind of boring. Good-looking, yes, but a little plain. I do love Angelina Jolie though, she is absolutely gorgeous. She must be a superhero, what with raising six kids, starring in all those movies and doing so much charity work. I love Johnny Depp, too, he’s completely crazy and does such great, unconventional roles. One of my all-time favorites is Leonardo DiCaprio. I’ve seen almost every one of his movies, and he is really talented. He has a great range, I think he can play any role. If he is in a movie, I will go see it. After “Titanic,” he became this heartthrob character, but I think his talent is overlooked sometimes. He and Kate Winslet, another one of my favorite actresses, are absolutely fantastic together.

What is your favorite movie theater?

I think I have to say Town Centre, actually. Hollywood 20 is the nicest, but it is always so crowded. Town Centre is so far out of the way, it’s a little hole in the wall kind of place. The theater itself is not that great, it’s pretty shabby, but that’s why I like it. It’s usually empty, and you can get those cheesy fake tattoos in the lobby. There aren’t a million little kids running around playing video games or throwing popcorn. I love that you can only pay cash, too. It has an old-time feel to it.
