How do we see our society unfold? Are we happy with the substance of who we are?

Taking part in the community in which we live and to focus on the ideal vision of success, health, example, support and belief is to take heart and accept that it is possible to head towards ones dream and vision of a better world. We can begin the process of making peace on earth and goodwill towards man now; to step into the future seeing the multitude of choices we make daily with an open mind and a thoughtful heart.

The M.I. Academy and Discovery Center, the new Marco Island high school, is just such an animal. Continuing the high standards of the Charter Middle School and Tommy Barfield Elementary, this is an opportunity for Marco Island residents to envision grandness and to pioneer academic achievement for their high school students which includes empathy, diversity, innovation, sustainability, responsibility and respect.

The principals involved are organized, well researched and have a vision which some might say is too good to be true. With passion and a belief that our children, the community in which we live, and our planet are priceless beyond words, check out their Web page marcoislanddiscoverycenter.blogspot.com.
