M&I Bank, in conjunction with the Marco Island Historical Society, hosted a reception at M&I Bank’s Marco Island Branch at The Esplanade, commencing at 5 p.m., July 23. The event surrounded the celebration of the unveiling of the two finalists chosen for the Society’s mural project for its new museum. The two finalists are Paul Arsenault and Jonathan Green The community is invited to vote for the winning painting. The Marco Eagle and the Naples Daily News are media sponsors for the event, and ballots can be found and cast at the Marco Eagle office on East Elkcam Circle and also via online at marconews.com and naplesnews.com. Renditions of the two finalists’ paintings are on display in the Marco Eagle lobby, and the actual paintings will be on display at M&I Bank at The Esplanade from now through Aug. 14. The Naples Branch of M&I Bank will display the paintings from Aug. 17 to Sept. 2. The winning artist will be announced Sept. 7, and the deadline for accepting ballots is Wednesday, Sept. 2.
