— WARRANT ARREST

Philip Elmer Groh, 35, of 155 Delbrook Way, Marco, was arrested at his home on an active warrant out of St. Lucie County for battery. He was taken to jail at 2:37 p.m., May 19.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, DOOR DAMAGE

It was reported that someone damaged a door located in the pool area at 816 West Elkcam Circle between 2:35 p.m. and 4:10 p.m., May 21. Estimated value of damage is $150.

THEFT OF PING-PONG TABLE

Royce Alsop reported that someone stole his ping-pong table from his outdoor patio, located at 889 Swan Drive, between 12:01 a.m., May 1, and 6 a.m., May 22. Value of stolen property is about $600.

THEFT OF RESTAURANT PATRON'S PURSE, CONTRABAND IN JAIL

Ryan Scott Atkinson, 29, known as “Scotty,” was arrested and charged with the theft a patron’s purse that he had allegedly stolen while at the Sandbar Restaurant, 826 East Elkcam Circle. The purse and contents, stolen between 10:22 p.m., May 23 and 12:30 a.m., May 24, were recovered and returned to the victim. Atkinson, of 7668 Hernanado Court, Marco, was taken to jail. While being processed at the jail, officers found him to have Clonidine, which is often used to treat the symptoms of drug, alcohol, and nicotine withdrawal, among other uses.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA

An officer saw a suspicious subject in the area of West Elkcam Circle and Joy Circle at 1:10 p.m., May 26. An odor of marijuana was coming from his person. Edwin Dario Taborda Gil, 29, of 203 N.E. 10th Street, Miami, was charged with possession of marijuana, arrested and taken to jail.
