New vegetable company starts in Southwest Florida

We are a start-up company based in Southwest Florida. We began marketing and selling our fresh vine-ripe tomatoes on the internet to consumers and will continue to do so.

0We have experienced better than anticipated demand and have added other vegetables like peppers, onions, eggplant, zucchini and squash. We realized that our fresh vegetables are also of great interest to restaurants and have decided to pursue restaurants in South Florida. TheFreshGarden sources their vegetables from farms in Southwest Florida. Southwest Florida is home to some of the largest tomato, pepper, cucumber, potato and squash farms in the United States. We hand pick only the best vegetables providing customers with a consistently fresh product. We provide both traditionally and organically grown vegetables. Restaurants will now have the ability to improve the taste and freshness of their product; reduce their costs as we have minimal overhead; and can claim they source their vegetables from local farms which benefits the local economy and environment.

Southwest Floridians can also get in on the action. If you live in Naples or Bonita Springs and want to have the farmers market come to you we will deliver to your office. All of our fresh vegetables make great gifts for family, friends and clients as we have successfully shipped to every major state in the US.

We are owned by two partners with common interests in providing the freshest and best tasting produce to both consumers and restaurants. The CEO and Founder, Jimmy Augustine, grew up in Naples where his father has worked in the tomato business his entire career. His father is a prominent tomato breeder and developed the highly prized Ugly Ripe tomato.
