An exhibit of works by local photographer Constance Parry is now on display at the Marco Island Executive Airport.
Parry’s works will continue on display at the airport through June 30. The exhibit is a collaborative partnership between the United Arts Council and the management of the Marco Island Executive Airport.
Parry’s works feature a technique called Polaroid Transfers. After photographing her subjects, color slide images are exposed onto Polaroid film. She then uses the emulsion to transfer an image onto hot-pressed watercolor paper.
No two images are ever the same, creating unique one-of-a-kind collectible art.
The exhibit is in the lobby of the airport, and is open to the public.
The United Arts Council is designated by the state of Florida as the official local arts agency for Collier County. The non-profit agency is responsible for promoting arts and culture in the area and coordinates a consolidated online arts calendar at collierarts.com.
