NAPLES — An 81-year-old graduate will be among the more than 60 students to be honored tonight for their determination and persistence at the Adult & Community Education GED Graduation Ceremony. The ceremony will begin at 7 pm in the Golden Gate High School auditorium, located at 2925 Titan Way.
Officially known as the Florida High School Diploma, the GED has been earned by former Delaware and New Jersey governors, the former Surgeon General of the United States, and the late Peter Jennings, ABC news anchor.
The commencement address at this year’s event will be delivered by Jeff Lytle, Editorial Page Editor for the Naples Daily News.
