Interstate 75 closed Friday evening/Saturday morning between Corkscrew and Alico roads

NAPLES — Interstate 75 from Corkscrew Road to Alico Road will close tonight between the hours of 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM while crews continue beam installation on Lee County’s Estero Parkway Extension.

During the closure, northbound interstate traffic will be diverted onto Corkscrew Road and up Ben Hill Griffin Parkway, and southbound interstate traffic will be diverted onto Alico Road and down Three Oaks Parkway.

Information about the interstate closures will also be posted on the electronic message signs in the work area. Information about future beam deliveries and installations will be released as it becomes known.
