Marco Island Parks and Recreation will be hosting its annual Spring Jubilee on Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to noon. This year’s event will include over 16,000 Easter eggs for ages 11 and under. Age groups include 4 and under, 5 to 7; 8 to 9; and 10 to 11. The Easter egg hunt will start promptly at 11:30 a.m.
Additional activities this year include music and games by Mobile Sound Entertainment; Tae Kwon Do demonstration at 11 a.m.; Egg Science booth by Super Science and Amazing Art; Easter Bunny photos available by Bradford Cox Photography ($5 for a 4x6); caricatures by John Salustro; bounce house; jumbo inflatable slide; sand art; Legos; Parks and Recreation Foundation; and much more.
We are currently looking for volunteers to help out during the event with games and crafts and the distribution of Easter eggs. If you are interested in helping out this year please call Mindy Matusiak at 389-5032.
