Seawatch Condominium’s Monday Men’s Club organized a military memorial celebration on March 12 by honoring World War II veterans in a spirited ceremony that began with the Pledge of Allegiance and the Star Spangled banner.

World War II veterans honored individually included Robert Engelhard, Steven Gledich, James Greeley, John Kett, Daniel McDade, Carmine Mugnolo, Joseph Presto, Alfred Thomas and Frank Viapiano.

Veterans representing the U.S. Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines and the Navy were also recognized and applauded.

Music was provided by Peter Rizzo with songs of the service branches sung by over 100 in attendance. Coffee and a tribute cake were served during an informal social hour in an upbeat tempo to a repeat of military music.
