Eagle i: Latest lecture focuses on the eyes

The third in the four part Healthy Life Lecture Series will be held 7 p.m., March 31, at Mackle Park.

The topic for this presentation deals with cataracts presented by Richard Beatty, M.D., Board Certified Ophthalmologist specializing in cataracts, cornea/external disease, glaucoma and refractive surgery including LASIK, PRK and ICL.

How important is your vision? What symptoms should you be aware of to catch vision problems early? Do you have those symptoms now and don’t know it?

The Healthy Life Lecture Series is free to all attendees thanks to sponsors who are interested and concerned about the good health of all Marco Islanders.

The Medical Surgical Specialist, Physicians Regional Healthcare System have partnered with our own Marco Island Civic Association (MICA), Marco Island’s Park and Recreation Department, the Marco YMCA and Orion Bank of Marco Island to bring important medical information to our citizens in a casual relaxed setting.
