Customers of member-owned Bonita Springs Utilities have elected Robert Sharkey to the nine-person board and re-elected four incumbents: Steve McIntosh, David McKee, Jim Strecansky and Hank Hochstetler.
Sharkey and Hochstetler were elected to one-year terms. McIntosh, McKee and Strecansky were elected to three-year terms.
Each year, three members are elected to a three-year term. This year, two more members were named to fill seats vacated by one who resigned and another who died.
The nonprofit utility provides potable water, irrigation water and wastewater treatment services to 30,000 homes and businesses in Bonita Springs and elsewhere in Lee County.
