A 10-day basketball camp, from May 30 to June 10, is being hosted by the Macro Island Charter Middle School and Roger Raymond, athletic director and boys basketball coach.
He will be assisted by Allan Pernas, the school’s sixth-grade basketball coach.
Those invited are incoming fifth graders to eighth graders. Cost is $150, with each participant receiving a reversible shirt.
The camp runs from 9:15 to 11 a.m. each day. Fundamentals, conditioning, offensive and defensive principals and floor awareness will be part of the instruction, along with some game time.
