Eagle i: Free sports physicals offered for MICMS students

Doctors Patricia and Robert Poling will conduct free sports physicals on June 6 for fifth to eighth graders planning on playing sports in the Marco Island Charter Middle School athletic program.

The physicals will be done from 9 a.m. to noon in the school gymnasium; Marco Island Fire Rescue will be assisting.

Roger Raymond, school athletic director, said that anyone planning to play sports at the school in the next year has to have a sports physical. There is also a liability waiver form that must be signed and proof of health insurance submitted. The physicals are good for one year.

A donation of $10 is being asked to help support the school’s sports program.
