What are your favorite shows? Why?

I love watching Ellen DeGeneres. I think she’s funny, and she usually has good entertainment on. I love “House” — he’s so obnoxious, he’s funny. And, come to think of it, I saw (“House” star) Hugh Laurie on “Ellen.”

What network do you watch for news?

I like Fox news, because it is more honest, I think. All the other networks are more liberal.

Do you watch sports on TV?

I love the Patriots during football season, and golf. My husband watches the Red Sox, but I just can’t get into baseball.

Do you think television today is getting better or worse?

I think it’s getting worse. I liked the old-fashioned comedies, like “I Love Lucy.” There’s a lot of garbage on today. But I go to bed at nine o’clock, so don’t ask me about anything after that. I did like “CSI” — the Navy one. (“NCIS”)
