MARCO ISLAND — THEFT OF WALLET
Katy Hernandez, 22, of 2062 Rookery Bay Drive unit 2407, Naples, was arrested and charged with theft of a wallet she had reportedly taken from another customer’s purse while at DaVinci’s Restaurant, at 599 South Collier Boulevard. Stolen property was worth approximately $225. Hernandez was taken to jail at about 11 p.m. April 18.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, CONSTRUCTION SITE DAMAGE
Paul Burcky reported that someone damaged an entry gate at a construction site located at 1298 Orange Court between 7 p.m. May 4 and 6:45 a.m. May 5. Estimated value of damage is $200.
THEFT OF $500 HOOD ORNAMENT
Paula Pemble reported that someone had stolen a hood ornament from her vehicle while it was parked in Sunshine Ace Hardware parking lot at 1720 San Marco Road between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., May 3. Estimated value of property stolen is $500.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, DAMAGE TO FORECLOSURE PROPERTY
It was reported that someone damaged a pool cage screen at 16 Blue Hill Court sometime between 12 p.m. April 22 and 12 p.m. May 6. The home is listed as a foreclosure on marcoforeclosuresandshortsales.com. Estimated value of damage is $1000.
THEFT OF VEHICLE, LATER FOUND AT 7-ELEVEN
Deborah Staples reported that her car was stolen from the parking lot at her Marco Villa condominium, 457 Tallwood Steet, at about 4:45 p.m. May 6. The vehicle, valued at approximately $30,000.00, was located a short time later parked at the 7-Eleven Store at 600 Bald Eagle Drive.
