Marco Islanders, it would seem, would be happy to share their new off-leash dog park with outsiders looking for a place to run their pets.
In a poll asking that very question, 60 percent of respondents said the park should be open to all dog lovers, no matter where they come in from.
They accounted for 89 votes in the poll.
Against outsiders were 40 percent of respondents, who felt the pending park should be exclusively for the use of island dog owners.
