Eagle i: YMCA tennis for the cure

Tennis players can double their pressure in the YMCA Rally for the Cure Mixed Doubles Tournament.

Players will vie for titles in levels 5.0 to 8.0, while donating to a cure for cancer in the national Susan G. Komen for the Cure event.

The tournament, on the YMCA courts, begins at 8 a.m., June 6. Entry deadline is June 4 and players will be notified of their starting times June 5.

The tournament will be a round robin format. Winning teams will be determined by the team having won the most matches. Should there be a tie, the team having won the most number of games will be the winner at each level.

Entry fee, $35, will include lunch. Players can sign up at the YMCA, or register by phone, using a credit card by calling 394-3144, ext. 0. For more information contact tourney director Connie Kormanyos, 394-3144, ext. 224.
