MARCO ISLAND — Violation of no contact order
Carl Prince Johannes, 24, of 300 Rookery Ct., Marco, was arrested by the Marco Island Police Department and charged with violating a no contact order for 367 Yellowbird St., at 1:30 a.m., Oct. 27. He was taken to jail.
Theft of inflatable lifeboat motor
Franklin Rinker reported that a motor was stolen from his inflatable lifeboat located at the Marco Island Yacht Club, 1400 N. Collier Blvd., between 9 a.m., June 25, and 9 a.m., Oct. 5. Estimated value of stolen property is $500.
Driver must be licensed
A police officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic offense near Sixth Avenue and Marco Lake Drive at about 7 p.m. Oct. 30. An investigation confirmed the driver was not licensed to operate a motor vehicle. Maria E. Martinez, 31, of 650 Sixth Ave., Marco, was issued a notice to appear in court.
Theft of scooter
Stephen Donnelly reported that a scooter belonging to David Williams was stolen from a parking lot at Anglers Cove between 10 am., Oct. 26 and 12 p.m., Oct. 31. Estimated value of stolen property is $500.
Theft of construction tools
Rafael Villela, 33, of 1015 Anglers Cove, Unit G406, Marco, was arrested at the Marco Island Police Department at 11:15 a.m. Nov. 2. He was charged with theft and accused of stealing construction tools at DaVinci’s Restaurant during the evening of Oct. 31. The tools, valued at approximately $400, were recovered and returned to the victim. Villela was taken to jail.
Criminal mischief, mailbox damage
Wenceslao Gonzalez reported that his mailbox, at 601 S. Barfield Dr., was damaged sometime between 10 p.m., Nov. 1, and 6 a.m., Nov. 2. Estimated value of damage is $100.
Driver in auto accident caught driving with a suspended license
An Officer responded to a vehicle accident in the area of North Barfield Drive and San Marco Road at 4:19 p.m., Nov.2. Ryan Kristopher Rust, 25, of 4975 Billy’s Creek, Fort Myers, who a driver of one of the vehicles involved in the crash, had a suspended driver’s license. He was arrested and taken to jail.
