The Marco Island Area Association of Realtors 2010 President-elect Bill Filbin has been a longtime volunteer for St. Matthew’s Homeless Shelter. Every year he is instrumental in the shelter’s Thanksgiving Food Drive.
The Realtor Association is asking its members, friends, and family to help out this Thanksgiving with side dishes. Recommended side dishes are mashed potatoes, stuffing, green bean casseroles, baked yams, vegetables and sweet potatoes mashed or baked.
Last year Marco Island Realtors donated 35 pans. Let’s top that this year!
Disposable trays for side dishes are now available at the association office (140 Waterway Drive) along with additional information about the side dishes. You may also contact Bill Filbin directly at 370-8118 for trays and
information.
Side dishes are to be dropped off at the Association office, in the disposable trays, on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 26 between the hours of 8 and 11 a.m. for delivery to the shelter.
