NAPLES — Anita Spohr is one of thousands of people who received a ticket courtesy of red light cameras placed at a dozen intersections throughout Collier County.
“I really was being cautious. It wasn't like I flew through there,” Spohr explained.
Spohr got her ticket while driving to the beach early one Saturday morning. She admits she didn't come to a complete stop. “I was looking. I slowed down. I looked to make sure there was nobody. There was nobody on the road,” she told us. Spohr rolled through the light and got a ticket.
But the NBC2 Investigators found other drivers who did something similar. And they didn't get tickets.
