Flea market to benefit seniors

Naples Estates, a senior citizen mobile home park in East Naples, will hold a flea market Saturday to benefit its homeowners association’s general fund.

The flea market, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., will help the 484 residents fund repairs, security, and insurance for the park, at the intersection of Rattlesnake Hammock and County Barn roads. The flea market will be held at the clubhouse, at 400 Palm Haven Blvd.

Clothing, books, appliances, exercise equipment and other items will be sold. Residents of the park have won a lawsuit giving them the right to purchase the park, but a final hearing to determine price hasn’t yet been set and attorneys for the park are still fighting to get documents from the owner, Ell-Cap/75.
