New Holiday Inn Airport at Town Center ranks top in nation

The new prototype Holiday Inn Airport at Town Center is ranked highest in overall guest satisfaction as compared to all Holiday Inns in North America. The overall guest satisfaction ranking of 96.3 percent is based on responses to electronic surveys sent by the intercontinental brand to guests who have stayed at the hotel. The hotel, which opened in February, is managed by two of the region’s most respected hoteliers, Brian Holly, former managing director of Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa, and Fred Hirschovits, founder and president of Twenty/Twenty Worldwide Hospitality, LLC.

“Our team is committed to providing the highest level of proactive guest service and this top ranking is a great tribute to their dedication,” said Brian Holly, managing director. “Our hotel is a new prototype Holiday Inn, unlike what guests have experienced in the past, so there is a definite ‘wow’ factor from the moment we welcome them and we are determined to continue that positive impression throughout their stay.”

Holly explained that the hotel’s amenities include the “Oasis” restaurant and lounge with inside tables, individual flat screen televisions and an expansive outdoor area overlooking a large lake with a pool, jacuzzi, in-ground fire pit and 52-inch LCD television. Guest rooms feature high-end appointments, oversized work spaces, flat panel televisions and oversized walk-in showers with European hand held shower heads. The property offers 7,000 square feet of meeting, banquet and pre-function space with menus designed and created by longtime local chef Murray Young, a member of the U.S. Culinary Olympic team.

Holiday Inn Airport at Town Center is a full service conference hotel with 169 guest rooms. The property is managed by Twenty/Twenty Worldwide Hospitality, LLC, an international hospitality, consulting and management organization. It is located two miles from Southwest Florida International Airport on Alico Road across from Gulf Coast Town Center. For additional information call 239-561-1550 or visit the Web site at
