Collier clerk reopens operations at two satellite offices

— The Collier County Clerk of the Circuit Court has announced that he will reopen clerk operations at two satellite offices and rehire staff as a result of the $5.2 million funding agreement reached this week with the Board of County Commissioners.

Dwight Brock also said he will continue to evaluate staffing requirements throughout the year and make any necessary adjustments.

Effective Oct. 7, the following satellite offices will be reopened: North Collier Government Services Center, 2335 Orange Blossom Drive, and Golden Gate City, 4715 Golden Gate Parkway.

Clerk services will be available at Everglades City Hall as a result of a cooperative arrangement with Tax Collector Larry Ray.

The clerk main office in the Courthouse Annex at the Government Center Complex, 3301 U.S. 41 East, and outpost at Immokalee Courthouse, 106 South First Street, will continue their regular hours of operation.

“The Orange Blossom and Golden Gate locations are two of the busiest Clerk’s satellite offices plus they are geographically dispersed to serve a large number of citizens in Collier County,” Brock stated.

These two satellites are co-located with the other government services that include the Tax Collector, Department of Motor Vehicles, Supervisor of Elections and Property Appraiser to provide “ one-stop shopping” for the convenience of citizens.
