THURSDAY: Released 14 years ago, “Toy Story” changed the game for animated films. No longer content to tell stories with 2-D animation, the wizards at Pixar created a whole new way to animate movies via computer. Now it’s more uncommon to see a traditionally draw animated film thanks to the movie’s great success. “Toy Story” and it’s sequel are being re-released together in 3-D at local theaters. FRIDAY: Fresh from their award on the International Bluegrass Music Association Awards show, for Best Song of the Year (“Don’t Throw Mama’s Flowers Away”) Dan Paisley & Southern Grass perform the pure roots music that has them won such prestigious fans as Alison Kraus.
