COLLIER COUNTY — Medium levels of red tide were identified Monday in water samples taken about 30 miles offshore in northern Collier County, which means respiratory irritation and probable fish kills.
Although onshore winds are forecasted through Saturday, the wind patterns identified are expected to restrict the bloom to its present location. No red tide impacts are predicted at the beaches at this time.
