NAPLES — The Collier County Democratic Club is hosting its second town hall meeting on health-care reform at 6 p.m. Monday at the Norris Center, 755 Eighth Ave. S.
The speaker will be Dr. Allen Weiss, president and chief executive officer of the NCH Heathcare System. Weiss participated in a health-care town hall meeting in Naples hosted by state Rep. Matt Hudson and at a town-hall meeting in Fort Myers hosted by U.S. Rep. Connie Mack, R-Florida.
Weiss advocates for changes in how health care is delivered and greater emphasis on preventive measures.
The event is open to the public and questions may need to be written in advance and submitted, depending on turnout. There is no charge to attend.
