Deputies find 12-year-old girl who went missing

Deputies have located a 12-year-old Immokalee girl who left her aunt's home Saturday night and she was found safe, according to sheriff's spokeswoman Karie Partington.

Reports say Aleeya N. Warden was staying overnight at her aunt's house in Immokalee and went to bed at 9:30 p.m. When her aunt checked on her at 10 p.m. she discovered that Aleeya was gone and pillows had been arranged beneath the covers to make it appear that someone was sleeping in the bed.

Earlier today, deputies were getting a list of her friends and had her cell phone number, Partington said. She had run away from home once before.

Aleeya is 5 feet, 2 inches tall, slender, with brown eyes and red hair. She may be wearing a purple sweater and khaki pants.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Collier County Sheriff's Office at 252-9300.
