Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers: Person of interest

An unidentified bank robbery suspect, around 11:40 a.m. on Sept. 25, this suspect walked into the Florida Gulf Bank on Dani Drive (near Colonial and Six Mile Cypress Parkway) and presented a note to a teller demanding money — and then left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police set up a perimeter and searched the area, but did not locate the suspect. He’s described as a white male, about six feet tall, 175 pounds and wearing eye glasses. Witnesses say he had a calm demeanor and appeared confident in his actions.
