Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers: Wanted fugitive

James Russell, 40, has a bench warrant for failure to appear (FTA) on a charge for driving while license is suspended (Lee County) and also a bench warrant for FTA in Collier for possession of cocaine.

In addition to those warrants, he also has 11 other Lee County warrants for failure to pay child support; he owes thousands in back support. He’s got several local priors for battery, narcotics and has been arrested already three times this year for non-payment of support.

In Hillsborough County, he’s been arrested for drug possession and bringing contraband into a county detention facility. He was last known to be working as a computer draftsman for an area engineering firm. His past addresses float between the North Naples and Fort Myers area, though detectives think he’s up in Fort Myers right now. He’s got a scar over his right eye, and goes by the name of Jim. Upon his arrest, he will be held without bond.
