ORLANDO — Authorities say an elderly couple was seriously injured when an out-of-control truck crashed through their mobile home in Orlando.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that 43-year-old Sanita Joseph was driving near Tamarack East Mobile Home Park Monday afternoon when she lost control of her pickup truck. FHP says the truck went over a raised median and through the side of the mobile home and a pool house. The vehicle finally stopped in front of the swimming pool.
The man and woman who live in the home, both reported to be in their 70s, were taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
Joseph was reported to have minor injuries.
The crash is under investigation, but no charges have been filed.
