Bonita teen charged with additional fake drug charge

One of three Bonita Springs Middle School students arrested last week on drug charges faces an additional count after deputies found a container in his back pack that had imitation drugs in it.

The boy was arrested Wednesday by Lee County Sheriff's Office deputies at the school.

He was originally charged Friday with making a powdery substance appear to be cocaine. This time the powdery substance was contained in a pencil shaft and was suspected to be cocaine, but may have been flour, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office.
