APPOINTMENTS

Patrick Vanasse, a planning manager for RWA, has been named Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce government affairs committee chairman. The committee tracks issues at the local, county, and state levels that have significant impacts on the business community of Bonita Springs.

Brenda Stelzer has been appointed staff nurse at Ardent Manor Adult Day Center. Stelzer’s nursing experience has included work at urgent care, facial plastic surgery and family practice. She also spent five years specializing in geriatric nursing.

Ed Cahill joined John Marazzi Nissan of Naples as sales manager. Cahill was formerly the general sales manager at Fort Myers Toyota where he had previously worked for John Marazzi for 10 years. Cahill oversees all day-to-day sales operations.

John Maloney, a senior associate with WilsonMiller, was promoted to regional business unit manager for surveying for lower Southwest Florida. Maloney will now manage the surveying and mapping efforts of WilsonMiller’s lower Southwest Florida regional offices.

Tim Byal has joined Miromar Development Corp. as the vice president of finance. Byal was initially with the company from 2000 to 2003 as vice president of operations. Byal is a certified public accountant and is also a licensed real estate broker.

Linda Willette has joined Downing-Frye Realty as a sales associate. Willette has nearly 12 years of real estate experience. She specializes in waterfront properties and also has experience in selling commercial and medical buildings.

Mark Luchauer has joined Internet Services Group of Florida as Web marketing specialist. His primary responsibility will be idea and content creation in the audio and video realm.

RECOGNITIONS

DeAngelis Diamond Construction received Summit Awards for the following projects: Best Hospitality Project, Best Commercial Retail Project and Best Company Brochure. The Summit Award is a tribute to the Lee Building Industry Association members who have obtained an outstanding level of success and professionalism in the commercial construction industry each year.

Donna Christensen, a Preferred Travel of Naples senior travel specialist, has been recognized by Travel + Leisure magazine a 2009 top 129 travel consultant. She was the only travel agent in the United States to be recognized in the category of special interests for private jet tours.

Lawrence Farese, a partner in the Naples office of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi, was named to the 2010 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the category of commercial litigation. Farese’s practice focuses on business and probate litigation.

Coral Hospitality, a full-service hospitality management, consulting and investment company specializing in hotels, clubs and residential communities, has been named to Golf Course Industry Magazine’s Top 35 Golf Management Companies in the U.S. list.

Tomasso Mortgage will open an office at 649 Fifth Ave. S. Suite 216. Robert Tomasso was a commercial banker since 1975 and opened Tomasso Mortgage in Cape Coral with a satellite office in Naples. 213-4231

Pinnacle Advisory Group, a Maryland-based private wealth management firm, opened a second office in Naples at 5500 U.S. 41 N., 692-8888.
