Estero fine art show: Focus of art community turns to south Lee

The slate includes more than 100 artists from across North America. Some paint, sculpt clay or mold glass over an open flame. Others crank on metal tubes, twisting them into intricate figures.

Custom clothing, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces, digital montages that meld two realities together, and a French composer playing guitar and singing his tunes. They’ll all be a part of this fall’s Estero Fine Art Show, which takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7 and Sunday, Nov. 8 at Miromar Outlets in Estero. The show is juried by professionals with art education backgrounds.

“It’s very high quality. I’d put it up there with Bonita (Springs National Art Festival),” said show organizer Patty Narozny. “We reach out to artists in area like Michigan and North Carolina, where we do other shows. So we bring some artists to Estero that otherwise don’t show in Florida.”
