SATURDAY: Enjoy a free Halloween party on Fifth Avenue South with a childrens’ costume contest, face painting and trick-or-treating from noon to 4 p.m. and an adults’ and families’ costume contest and live music from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. along Fifth Avenue South, Naples. Free. 435-3742.

SUNDAY: Lew Paper, author of “Perfect: Don Larsen’s Miraculous World Series Game and the Men Who Made It Happen,” signs and discusses the book about the only perfect game in a World Series at 4 p.m. at Borders Books Music Movies & Cafe, 10600 U.S. 41 N., Naples. 596-7199.
