What are some other good restaurants?

Mel’s Diner – my favorite breakfast hole. Typically, I get the Mel’s Platter – two eggs to order, a generous helping of breakfast potatoes and a biscuit with sausage gravy. It’s on a dinner-sized platter and it’s just oozing to the edge with gravy. It’s good homestyle cooking. Their baby back ribs are good. The fish is good. The country-friend steak is to die for.

What’s the last restaurant you visited?

Carrabba’s. I went to meet some friends, and they bought me dinner. I like the atmosphere, and it’s a nice family restaurant. I always end up ordering the same thing. I love their Pasta Weesie. It’s a shrimp alfredo, and let me tell you, the alfredo sauce is to die for. It’s got to be a cardiologist’s nightmare. It’s thick. It’s delicious. Everything I’ve ever tried there has been well-prepared and delicious.

What is your favorite fare?

My favorite dish? What I used to tell my mom – ‘lots.’ When I’m eating out, it really depends on what my taste buds are looking for. If I want country style, I go to Mel’s. If I want Italian, I go to Carrabba’s. If I want seafood, I go to Kelly’s Fish House.
