A 20-year-old Naples woman accused of forging a check belonging to an 88-year-old Bonita Springs woman remained in the Lee County Jail on Wednesday.
Erika Ashley Bury, 4001 Santa Barbara Blvd., No. 266, was charged with theft of more than $300 but less than $10,000 from a person 65 years old or older and forgery. No bond had been set Wednesday morning, according to Lee County Sheriff's Office online records.
Bury was the caretaker for Pearl Foreman and is accused of forging an $800 check. Foreman's bank, Colonial Bank now known as BBT caught the transaction, according to Sheriff's Office reports.
