The offense looked sloppy at times, and the defense gave up some big plays, but both Naples High units performed when they needed to in the Golden Eagles’ 14-12 victory Friday at Dunbar.
After the Tigers scored on a punt return to steal momentum and forced a three-and-out by the Naples offense, Dunbar had the ball with nine minutes left trailing 14-12. That’s when the Golden Eagles’ veteran defense came up biggest.
