Wanted: Volunteers for Marco Island CRA advisory committee

MARCO ISLAND — Marco Island City Council is seeking volunteers to serve on the newly created Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) Advisory Committee. The seven-member committee will review available information and make recommendations to City Council regarding the feasibility of implementing the CRA; the development of a master redevelopment plan for the Town Center district; the planning and funding of future public improvements within the district area, and other matters concerning the CRA.

Volunteers should be business owners or property owners within the Town Center District, but other interested citizens may be considered based upon their education, background and prior experience.
