The Marco Eagles are getting ready to fly into its eighth football season.
Practice began last week as the teams head toward season-opening games on Sept. 9. They will compete against teams from the Naples Seahawks and the First Baptist Church of Naples Beacons.
There remains openings on the teams that practice Monday through Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Mackle Park. Participation is $150 for the first child and $75 for the second and subsequent children.
To be eligible for practice and games, a participant must complete eight hours of conditioning.
Pee Wee Division ages are 7 to 9 and 10-year-olds weighing less than 85 pounds.
Junior Division, 10 and 11, along with 12-year-olds weighing less than 115 pounds.
Senior Division, 12 to 14, with no weight limit.
